ActionMaxx Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 10, 2026
ActionMaxx ("ActionMaxx," "we," "us") is an iOS app operated by Foundation Design LLC, doing business as Lark & Co. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Contact: hello@wearelark.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and name, provided when you sign in with Apple or with email. If you use Sign in with Apple and hide your email, we receive Apple's private relay address.
- Content you create: your daily priorities and other text you write in the app, and any feedback you send us.
- Identifiers: an account user ID, plus a push notification token if you allow notifications.
- Purchase history: your subscription status and transactions, which we receive through Apple and RevenueCat. We never receive your payment card details.
- Usage data: how you use core features, such as focus sessions, breaks, and break-budget usage, used to run those features.
2. Screen Time data stays on your device
ActionMaxx uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity). Apple provides the apps and websites you choose to block as private tokens through its system picker. We can't see which apps you selected, and that selection never leaves your device.
3. How we use information
We use it to provide and secure your account, sync your priorities and settings, run blocking, focus, and break features, manage your subscription, respond to support requests and feedback, and fix and improve the app. We don't use your data for advertising.
4. No selling, no tracking
We don't sell your personal information. We don't use ad networks or third-party analytics, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
5. Service providers (processors)
We share data only with providers that help us run ActionMaxx, and only for that purpose:
- Supabase: authentication, database, and hosting.
- RevenueCat: subscription management and purchase validation.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, push notifications, and Screen Time frameworks.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users' safety.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account data from our systems, normally within 30 days, except where we have to keep limited records (for example, transaction records) for legal or accounting reasons. Apple and RevenueCat may keep purchase records under their own policies.
7. Deleting your account
In the app, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and associated data. You can also email hello@wearelark.com from your account email and ask for deletion. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email hello@wearelark.com.
9. Children
ActionMaxx isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. International users
Our providers may process your data in the United States and other countries.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. If we do, we'll change the effective date above, and we'll notify you in the app or by email for material changes.
